Recent Korean War history demonstrates how surprised we were when the MiG-15s showed up over the Korean skies. They were much more formidable adversaries than the public was told for many years. Owing much to German WWII design and engineering, they were a fairly even match for the F-86 Sabre and more than our earlier jets could handle, especially when in the hands of Soviet combat experienced pilots.
Recently, Eduard introduced the MiG-15 in 1:72 scale that quickly became known as the best kit available. I built two of them and will likely build a few more because they are cool early jets and fun kits. Below are a few photos of one. If you have any interest in the early jet fighters, you owe yourself a couple of Eduard’s 1:72 scale beauties.
